Medium: Poem with a digital animation made on IBIS Paint X

In this submission, we took another approach for the emotion – anticipation. The poem conveys the sea’s yearning to reach the shore after a long journey from the ocean’s depths. However, just as it touches the sand on the shore, it is drawn back by the waves, returning to the sea. We paired this poem with an animation, to visually capture the sea’s desperate, eager grasp for the shore.
