Material used:
Coconut shells, Used oil tins, old worn out pillows, Old clothes (Blankets, Pajamas, curtains, Daily wears), discarded vegetable baskets, bamboo from broken chairs, cardboards from used carton boxes, leftover pieces of wood from furniture making and jute ropes that were reused from shredded jute bags.
Nestled within the tranquility of its warm embrace, the inviting space caters to the souls of bookworms and beyond. It offers a sanctuary where the depths of imagination take flight. Here, the ambience serves as a gentle nudge, beckoning one to liberate one’s true self. With an array of choices at your fingertips, the sanctuary provides plentiful opportunities. Whether seeking solace within a serene reading nook or whether in pursuit of a cozy haven to explore one’s creativity, the possibilities are boundless. A haven is promised in every corner for those yearning for reprieve and inspiration. In addition to being meticulously created with affection and attention, the design was intricately planned utilizing scrap to create a functional product.
Almost 80% articles used were waste materials. In a world today engulfed by conflict and animosity, there is a crucial need for a tranquil and peaceful sanctuary. This designated area caters to the needs of both children and adults. Ample space is provided for them to express their true selves freely, and for fostering an environment of serenity. The ambience within this space exudes a sense of warmth and radiance, creating an ideal setting for individuals to unwind and pursue their passions without constraints.
The presence of coconut shells enhances the sensory experience, transporting one’s mind to a seashore, and allowing it to relish the delights of the salty sea air and vibrant surroundings. The soft, warm dull light that gently illuminates the room contributes significantly to the overall atmosphere of calm and tranquility, thus enhancing the feeling of relaxation and peacefulness. The gentle glow reflecting off the walls, creates a cozy and inviting ambience that envelops the space in a soothing embrace. Furthermore, the soft pillows and the bright curtains, made with aged linen, add a touch of elegance and authenticity to the room, infusing it with a subtle charm and a sense of nostalgia, making it a truly welcoming sanctuary for rest and rejuvenation.
